PARISH COUNCIL MEETING UPDATE

At its meeting on 18th March 2025 the Parish Council:

Were pleased to note the refusal by the Secretary of State of the Hinckley National Rail Freight Interchange proposal

Gave approval for the use of Littlethorpe Recreation Ground for the Littlethorpe Community Association's annual Easter Egg Hunt on Good Friday

Approved reviews of some Council policies and the Council's Risk Register to ensure they were relevant and up to date

Agreed proposals for additional fencing at Thorpe Meadows as part of the project to open up new areas of the site

Approved in principle the installation of a physical barrier to deter parking on Littlethorpe Recreation Ground if problems persist

Noted that new tree plantings had now taken place adjacent to the Littlethorpe Children's Play Area
