PARISH COUNCIL MEETING UPDATE

At its meeting on 21st January 2025, the Parish Council:

Approved its budget for the financial year 2025/26. This means that the Parish Council contribution in the Council Tax will rise by a modest 3.76% which is the equivalent of less than an extra 10p per week for a Band D property and less for those in Bands A to C

Considered an email from a resident complaining about continuing antisocial behaviour in the evenings on Narborough Park and agreed to add this item to the February Council Meeting agenda to consider what further actions could be taken

Noted residents' concerns following further flooding earlier in the month and plans for the Flood Resilience Officer to attend a future meeting

Heard that quotations have been sought for the next phase of refurbishment works at Littlethorpe Village Hall

Heard that the process to gain permission from Leicestershire County Council to install a Speed Indicator Device on Huncote Road was moving very slowly and confirmation was awaited
