Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 1926-2022

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II  1926-2022

We are very saddened to hear that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II passed away peacefully on 8 September 2022, aged 96.

The Parish Council joins the nation in mourning and our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this time.

A book of condolence is available for people to sign at Blaby District Council Offices, Desford Road, Narborough, LE19 2EP.

South Leicestershire Fundraising Group raising money for Marie Curie

Local residents are invited to come along to a Marie Curie Coffee morning being held on September 17th 10 -12.00am at St Pius X Church Hall 52 Leicester Road, Narborough LE19 2DF.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER:- COVENTRY ROAD, BROUGHTON ASTLEY

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

A road closure and temporary speed reduction is required on Coventry Road, Broughton Astley.
