Leicestershire County Council Transport Study

Leicestershire County Council is currently undertaking a Transport Study in Enderby and Narborough.

Narborough residents living on Coventry Road, Cutters Close, Briers Way, Park Road and Sharpe Way were sent a letter on 4th December (extract below) and have been asked for their views and comments on the proposed residents' parking scheme.

Temporary Road Closure of Station Road, Narborough - 2nd October 2017

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF: STATION ROAD, NARBOROUGH Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to the Temporary road closure of the above road. The closure is required from either side of the level crossing. The road will be closed from 00.01 hours on 2 nd October 2017 to 05.00 hours. Reality Youth Bus

The Reality Youth Bus will return to Narborough Park on Friday 15th September 2017 4.15 pm to 5.45 pm, and will run for 10 weeks (excluding October half term). To accommodate the bus, the park gates will be closed on Fridays, with parking available nearby on Weavers Court at the newly introduced rates of 30p for 2 hours.

Narborough Park Fun Day - 11th August 2017

Last Friday's Fun Day on Narborough Park was very well supported and luckily the weather was kind to us. Inflatable equipment, including an obstacle course, bubble football, gladiator duel and bouncy castle, was provided free of charge and many residents took the opportunity to bring a picnic and enjoy the sunshine. The Council was delighted it was such a success and it is hoped to be able to repeat this type of event in the future.. Read More »
