Temporary Road Closure of Station Road, Narborough - 2nd October 2017

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF: STATION ROAD, NARBOROUGH Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to the Temporary road closure of the above road. The closure is required from either side of the level crossing. The road will be closed from 00.01 hours on 2 nd October 2017 to 05.00 hours. Reality Youth Bus

The Reality Youth Bus will return to Narborough Park on Friday 15th September 2017 4.15 pm to 5.45 pm, and will run for 10 weeks (excluding October half term). To accommodate the bus, the park gates will be closed on Fridays, with parking available nearby on Weavers Court at the newly introduced rates of 30p for 2 hours.

Narborough Park Fun Day - 11th August 2017

Last Friday's Fun Day on Narborough Park was very well supported and luckily the weather was kind to us. Inflatable equipment, including an obstacle course, bubble football, gladiator duel and bouncy castle, was provided free of charge and many residents took the opportunity to bring a picnic and enjoy the sunshine. The Council was delighted it was such a success and it is hoped to be able to repeat this type of event in the future.. Read More »

The Village Show

The Village Show will be held on Saturday 2nd September 2017 at All Saints Church Rooms, School Lane, Narborough

A new "Diamond Class" included for this year. Class comprises a specimen pot plant, a specimen flower and a specimen vegetable

Exhibits only accepted from 8.30 am to 10.00 am

Show open to the public from 2.00 pm

Prizes presented at 3.30 pm

Admission: Adults - 50p, Children - free

Parish Centre Redevelopment

UPDATE - JULY 2017

The redevelopment of the Parish Centre has now begun after delays due to the discovery of a well and unforeseen difficulties with services. The excavation of the additional piece of land adjacent to the Parish Centre has started, together with internal works in preparation for the demolition. The footpath has been closed around the Parish Centre but it is not anticipated that a road closure will be necessary.. Read More »
